As a company operating in the transport and logistics sector, Locotranssped is aware of its environmental impact. In 2024, we conducted our first dual materiality analysis, identifying key areas where our operations have a significant impact on the environment, including climate change, pollution, water management, biodiversity and resource use.
We are committed to contributing significantly to the decarbonisation of supply chains, with a particular focus on developing intermodal transport, which is less carbon intensive than traditional road transport. Our actions aim to reduce our environmental footprint while maximising initiatives that have a positive impact on the climate, in line with the Paris Agreement and the Strategy for Sustainable and Smart Mobility.
Our main objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and move towards climate neutrality, in line with global efforts to limit temperature increases to 1.5° C above pre-industrial levels.
Locotranssped's activities are in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those relating to climate protection, responsible consumption and production, and the protection of life under water and on land.
We are committed to the highest standards in identifying, assessing and managing environmental risks. We regularly monitor and report our emissions and environmental impacts and our operations comply with the latest standards and regulations, including ADR regulations for the transport of chemicals.
We achieve our objectives through a range of activities, such as increasing the share of intermodal transport, as well as through education and training of our employees and partners.
The implementation and oversight of the environmental policy is the responsibility of the CEO, supported by the ESG Risks Team and all management.
